    That sounds awful.
My sister just tore her hamstring tendon completely and that was a sucky surgery.

My doc said he’ll clear me for light strength work end of month 2. Which isn’t even going to include a body weight squat. I imagine by the time I’m cleared I’ll be starting from ground zero.

I hopeI can stay off the recumbent bike lol

    Oh it will.

I’m trying to enjoy my lazy time off. I think I might be getting too used to it...

How long did you deal with knee swelling?
I’m trying to figure out if its worth it to buy a higher quality knee sleeve than what the doc gave me.
With my foot I know for a year post surgery my foot would swell easily, now its back to normal. Compression socks were helpful.

I don’t want to buy something if I won’t use it more than a few weeks but if it will be helpful for at least a few months I’ll splurge.

Growth takes forever. Even doing what I do, if I see 5 pounds of muscle a year I'd be happy as a clam (are clams happy tho Idk) maybe I'd be as happy as a fat kid with chocolate cake

I'm eating about the same but with the running have been losing weight. Skin pinch in the stomach feels thinner and abs poking out more. Also hungry more than I care to eat.

It’s funny how the cycle works for some.

    1. Get fat
    2. Struggle losing weight.
    3. Finally lose weight
    4. Realize lean means muscle! (When noob)
    5. Make newb gains
    6. Try to gain weight to make real gains
    7. Get confused cause it was hard to lose weight and now it’s hard to gain.

Deadlifts 5x2 @ 405lbs that’s my comp weight and it feels easy.

    then stiff legged deadlifts 3x12 @ 245

    Everything hurts.

it is hard to remember now as it was a while ago but I stayed swollen for a couple months more or less and would swell a bit after exercise for a while after that. Heat helped me reduce it some...
