    SOS. OU's opponents have a 23-16 record. Oregon's opponents have a 13-24 record.

OK... so if OU and Oregon don't lose... does anybody jump them? As an SEC homer, I'd like to think an undefeated Auburn would, but I don't think Auburn is going to be undefeated

OU has to play a conference championship game, which I think says a lot. Oregon doesn't have to play one this year. Could an undefeated Oregon get jumped in the last week by a team that wins its conference championship?

The Tide is down at 6, but we play two teams ahead of us before the season is done. Needed South Carolina to win out and lose to us in the SECC game to have any hope, I thought. Oh well... I'd be happy with our 23rd SECC and a Sugar Bowl. Still... I'll be pulling for the opponents of everybody ahead of us, except Auburn (gulp), who needs to stay strong until we play them.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
Im glad you understand that. I know so many people who just want their enemy to lose. Nothing would look better for alabama and auburn to play and both be ranked super high. For example, if auburn is #2-3 and alabama makes it to about #4, that number 2 spot will hopefully be secured for whoever wins the iron bowl. That way an sec west team is assured (assuming they win secc) for a nc spot.

Basically the iron bowl is a slingshot into NC possibility and in the west, i feel that auburn and alabama are the best contestants.

An undefeated Auburn or LSU would jump Oklahoma and Oregon, by the end of the season. I still think a 1 loss SEC team will push BSU and TCU out of the championship. An undefeated big 10, pac 10 or big 12 will be the other team in that game.

Yeah... Now, I'm not pulling/cheering for Auburn, b/c I can't bring myself to do that. But I hope you come into the Iron Bowl 11-0.

I hope you're right about a 1-loss SEC team, b/c that's Alabama. Just in case, though, I'm pulling against y'all and Oregon the rest of the way anyway.

Just listened to Tim Brando on Finebaum. He said that Les got kinda tangled up in his own words (no surprise). Said that Les was making a joke about how he has 2 quarterbacks (rather than a first string and a second string).

He was saying Cam would just be the third one, not necessarily third string, and he was saying it in jest anyway.

Not defending the mad hatter... just saying what I heard.
