Got myself on my dealer's wait list. I don't drive it that much right now anyways, but I'll post if I hear anything from them

Update: My dealership just called me back. There's currently no wait list but they will send a letter out as soon as the know more about the fix. I asked for an ETA and was told it would probably be about a month until they had an update.

Yep, so much for quality control and ISO when you get your parts from China.

My 18 trd sport i dropped off at dealer today. I expressed my concern for my safety being that i drive 140 miles per day on the interstate. They gave me $60 a day allowance to go to enterprise rent a car and get a vehicle until they get the parts to repair. They took my vehicle and parked it in the back lot. Service tech told me not to expect my vehicle back for a few months. So now im driving a 2020 F150 with 4k miles on Toyotas Dime.

Service advisor at my dealership said not to expect any repairs until May at the earliest. They have had a Tundra sitting on their lot since early January waiting for a fuel pump repair. He said if I had the problem, they would park my truck on the lot and give me a loaner. No way is my truck going to be parked on the dealer's lot more than a day our two.

Ive been told that a vehicle that sits on a dealer lot for 30 or more days with no repair. At that point its considered a lemon and covered under lemon law. Interesting to see how toyota will play this situation.

Got the notice for the low pressure fuel pump recall today in the mail. It states my truck is included in the recall and a 2nd recall notice would be sent when the remedy is ready for me to bring my truck in.

Was so hoping my truck would not be in this recall. :(

Did you get a notice from Toyota yet? Maybe your truck won't be in this recall. I cannot say the same.

I think every state has different laws regarding lemon law.

Checked Toyota recall, my VIN is on the list. Notice uphill it struggles a bit and today at the light, it struggled on take off. Guess its gonna sit at home for awhile until Toyota has the remedy for this issue. Welp time to pull out the desert runner.

On the list, haven’t noticed any symptoms.

Toyota’s definitely gonna take their sweet ass time figuring out the cheapest way around this one. Maybe we’ll survive long enough?

Still over-blown, you're more likely to get Covid19 at this point vs. having your fuel pump fail.

I'm looking at this as an opportunity for them to turn off the seat belt chime when they have it. I wear my seat belt, but the annoying chime on start up has to go. I'll also have them enable the alarm add on.
