No, and that's a good point. I slipped some rubber between the ones on my other truck. Thanks for reminding me!

Beware the white lithium grease is a false hope. Overtime it attracts dirt and makes them squeak worse.

He had a solid axle up front and went back to IFS to be able to use the durabumps.

Finally got around to a table for my swing out. I've had everything sitting here, just had other things more important, but a camping trip brings motivation. It's decent, but I rushed it so I'm gonna change a few things in the future.

Folks I bought it from had a new 5” mattress topper they left with us and that’s all we’ve used for the past several years. Meant to cut it to fit but... 35 degrees last night and slept like a baby, we’ve gone way colder and it’s always sufficed. An Exped Megamat Duo is probably going to replace it from weight and space reasons, and the REI dividend mostly. Long live the Wildernest.

I always loved that this existed, but I must ask - how flappy and noisy is it in the wind? I could barely sleep during the short time I owned a Flippac when I camped on windy nights.

Not so bad, I have a length of aluminum that I need to cut/bend to recreate the little “L” shaped brackets that keep the sides (front/rear) poked out and tensioned. But it was pretty breezy on the coast last night and it was fine. Replacing the zipper pulls with cord is pretty critical, those things are annoyingly loud.
