Wife is seriously bummed. Was to leave on the 20th for a two week wine tour in France. I'm bummed for her, but deep down, I'm glad she's not going. I would have been worried about her the entire time.

On a serious note, this is THE best video I've seen on the current state of the country with regards to COVID-19. Highly recommend everyone watch this. Very informative. And this dude is consulting with CDC, and HHS. This guy is a no shitter.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I've got 3 sets of friends there right now, and nothing has been announced to them... Or any apparent worry

Have a great time! It’s going to be pretty quiet as the locals aren’t going.

Stand by for heavy rolls, then. Did you watch the video I posted, above? No doubt you may have already gleaned this info from you wife, as I recall she's a nurse.

I'm shocked by the number of people who continue to believe this is nothing more than the flu and that they'll continue on about their business. The later half I can agree with to a degree. But jeez, don't risk infecting your family or worse, being responsible for infecting your grandparents...

Be prepared for alternate entertainment options, then. Big crowd events are being canceled left and right, as you no doubt are aware.

Well, I knew it was bad, but continue to go about my business. But, as more information is released, my habits are changing. Avoiding big crowds. Especially indoor events.

I listened to this yesterday and it kinda freaked me out. When i saw Rogan promoting it I was hoping this guy was going to come in and say it's all bullshit and don't worry.

Fundamentally, the beginning is always seemingly low infection rates. However, R0 calculations for COVID-19 are not well understood. You can read about comparisons between it and the flu but honestly, the lack of understanding of COVID-19 is what's problematic. There's one thing that stands out and that's the mortality rate-higher with Coronavirus.

Bottom line, there might be 3500 cases today but by Friday next week, there could be 10000.

I can’t stop working. I would be the one to bring it home to my family as I am the one who has to come into contact with a lot of people. I wash my hands a lot as it is. Now, I wash even more. But I can’t stop working.

The difference between before the Pandemic and after, for me, has been an over abundance of caution when it comes to inserting myself into crowded areas. I have changed my work hours. But that doesn’t keep from having to be in The City. I try not to shake hands with people. Instead, I try for a fist bump.

I try to minimize contact, but I still need to be in contact with my customers. They still need to see my cheery ass smile and know that I am working for them.

The world is a complicated mess and as we become more interdependent upon each other, these complicated circumstances will arise more often. I can only hope it doesn’t have a negative effect on my personal community of friends and family.
