my co-workers kid’s school was shut down early yesterday for the rest of the week for a case. And he’s here at work tonight...
4 call-outs for the morning already and it’s still very early.

Probably won't be me. I don't see many people at the plant at night. I'd say the least amount of people I come into close quarters with per shift is 4 and the most is maybe 10.

I stopped to grab some 100 proof to kill it from the inside out tomorrow. They canceled the Boston St Patrick’s day parade this weekend...

If you're not pissed about that, I bet something you do like will be cancelled soon.

    Strange days, indeed.

I've never been much of a basketball fan, but understand the fans being pissed. It's blown way out of proportion.

There are 1200 known cases(I'd be willing to bet that there are a shit ton more that went undiagnosed) with 38 deaths in the US. It has the same basic presentation as flu. It's more harmful to elderly and people with pre-existing conditions(just like flu), but doesn't seem to be so bad for kids.

Normally healthy people are sick just like they are if they get the flu. Take the same precautious and things will be back to normal as always.

One of our docs does flight time. He was in South Korea at the right time. He got back and had flu like symptoms(still worked with a mask on and sounded like shit), passed it on to another doc, who gave it to his wife and 3 of his 4 kids. They all acted like they had the flu. It lasted about a week or so and everything was fine. Like I said, I'm willing to bet more people have had it and thought it was the flu.

You may very well test negative for the flu and if you have the symptoms.....we still treat you like it was positive.

Houston rodeo was cancelled yesterday. They may cancel the Alvin Music Fest and BBQ Cook Off at the end of the month.
