Welcome. Seems we've had similar paths in life. I started in PA then moved to Colorado where I picked up a Wildernest and now here I am in Idaho.

I just don’t understand how you can put 20 years of your life and memories into a vehicle and have it treat you so well to trade it in for pennies.

To me it’s like sending a dog you’ve had for 10 years to the pound because he was getting old. Get another puppy to play with the damn old dog!

Anyone have sketchup pro and wouldn't mind exporting a few files to .dxf?

I would rather put the cost of a new truck into my old one for better parts. Like mean 40k dumped into an older truck... your truck would be amazing.
To me doing a new interior or a new motor or whatever it is is still more economical than buying a new truck.

haha, probably but I'm pretty far off from 35's. Next time I change tires I'm guna try going up to a 33 I still have to daily my truck so I need to keep it semi functional for everyday things.

haha, So far I haven't really found many situations where a 35 would greatly benefit me. Most of my stuff is dirt logging roads and in reality I could do that on stock size and nothing else

    Need, nothing lol
Later this year though, I’d like to change out the dual rear swing out bumper for a very simple high clearance tube with hitch, and get a tailgate again.

Meh, want to go back to a tailgate. Run something similar to the SDHQ bedrack, but tie in for longer shocks as well. I just prefer this look and the function of a tailgate

Both the workspace and access to the bed. don’t like having to do the swingouts every time. Don’t like being confined in between the swingouts while working at the bed.

found it adds steps/time and limits space. Getting confined to the alley so to speak between the swing outs. Whether it be loading/unloading, cooking, or having weapons laid out. I think I could do a single swingout and it would be better, but figure I’ll just transition to a chase rack.

I haven't felt an earthquake since I was like 12 or so. First one I've felt in Idaho for the past 25 years... crazy! Hope y'all are ok!
