She just told me in our conference call that she has been pushing back because I'm not following their "best practices"; when I asked for them in writing she told me they don't have them documented yet :homer:

my got damn mind reading abilities aren't working right again :bananadead:

I've worked on and off with people like that.

I'm very analytical and document everything as well; then people don't like getting called out on their shit when I present said documentation.

    So frustrating.

    It is frustrating

One of their employees called out how quickly I was resolving issues and she said she was jealous that I was getting accolades in her meeting lol

You know, at my work, I've resolved some of these issues by creating policies and procedures myself.

Higher up agreed and liked the idea and we've implemented said processes.

It sucks you're dealing with a 3rd party, but when it comes to labor laws, they're to be treated the same as co-workers. With that being said, there are issues (communication in this case) that need to be resolved for the better of the company.

You're only going to get out what you put in I always say.

To my knowledge that covers it, I can't think of what else might be affected by an extra inch or so of travel up front. All I've ever really heard highlighted on here is the aftermarket UCAs and longer bumps. And alignment of course to dial it all in afterward

With my ext travel Kings, SPCs and Durobumps I've had no issues in ~ 2 years. Well, other than my Durobumps falling apart but that's another matter

I wonder if aftermarket CVs are more likely to fail in the extended travel range

Thats a good point I've heard the parts store ones don't fare so well at full droop with more travel.

I know some guys like theesotericone are running limit straps with their extended mid travel kits, even with OEM CVs to avoid damaging the axles and boots

I've never had that issue but I don't send it as hard as he does

Yeah, if money were no object, I would go full mid-travel, Solo LCA's with limit straps.

    You're overthinking this.

Just bolt that shit on and send it.

My truck is falling apart due to years and years of abuse that most trucks will never see.
