Our daughter (that's getting married on Monday) is supposed to be going on a 2 week Caribbean cruise... Right now, she is working on getting answers to what her options are.

Sounds like she can cancel and then re-book a cruise after the first of the year without being out of pocket. But I haven't spoken to her since this morning, so I don't really know what's going on as of right now.

I won't go near any cruise liner at this time. They are like floating jails right now.

 

A co-worker was leaving on a cruise next week that was cancelled. She was given the option of a full refund now or a chance to re-book within a year and a 50% more of the cost of the original ticket voucher.

 

I was planning on going to a range in Sunday. Perhaps, I should save my ammo.

 

3 years left in the AF, I'm looking more and more at airlines, potentially some sort of managem position at one. Just gotta start watching ads, and getting my resume ready.

 

Ya... I don't really think she should get on any cruise ship right now either. I'm thinking, what if they depart and then none of the ports they are supposed to call are open. She just sits on a flipping boat for 2 weeks? Fuck that.

 

I worry less about the floating jail and more about The number of other things you can get. Norovirus, Legionnaire's disease, food poisoning. Really anything contagious is likely to spread quickly given the systems on board.

 

I licked an envelope seal from the DMV today. I like to live dangerously.

They just said the virus has a 3hr airborne life span and has a 3 day life on plastics and other surfaces...
