One of the local Corona virus cases here is someone from work. The person works across the street in the offices. All those office people are to work from home while the offices are being cleaned.
Then today in my plant they sent a 1st shifter home who was feeling sick. His work area is being disinfected.

Stay safe and wash your hands.

That pack of single ply TP is still available for trade.
Will trade for for a week of deer hunting in Virginia. @dewayne

Just got back from Walmart. No TP, water, sugar, vinegar? Half the store looked wiped out. Our Costco had a line around the block just to get in.

Luckily we bought our TP before the zombie hoarding started.

    that sucks.
depending on the layout of the work area / common area I would hope they would send everyone home so that everything can be cleaned thoroughly.

We had a talk today at work and went over a few new rules - no work related travel (we still need to go to job sites to install, etc, but aren't traveling to other cities or other businesses for meetings.), no touching (handshakes, fistbumps, etc), daily cleaning for shared workspaces and the machinery (saw, CNC consoles, fork lift, etc), and we are discouraged from socializing with one another.

vinegar is a natural disinfectant. they were probably also out of bleach, rubbing alcohol and peroxide.

yeah....i'm not exactly a "joiner". we were supposed to have a group bowling night tonight but it got cancelled. i never go to any of the company sponsored events or go out of my way to be sociable with anyone.

i was told i would have the opportunity to work from home if i wanted. might actually check that out. not so concerned with myself as i am my folks. if i'm exposed i'd automatically quarantine myself from them.

You're probably not old enough to have used it though, maybe heard of it. As a youngin I and most likely many here have experience with one of the best and lol most ruthless soaps either home made or commercially made Lye Soap it kills every thing. As a kid I recall it and Fels Naptha on the shelf in the laundry room and out by the wash up sink. Some of the people from further up in the Hollers etc can probably recall grandma making it mine never did but knew people who did and always had bars of it around.

The cleaning people at work use vinegar sometimes when cleaning the mens room urinals.
I am reminded of it when my wife uses it to clean at home.

Lye soap is awesome!!! It's not harsh unless you make it that way. The lye saponifies and becomes inert.
