Morning folks! More than likely going to Comifornia the 24th for work. Hoping I can stay Corona free Gotta start drinking Modelos as an antivirus

 

I’m back Ran some errands this morning then spent a few hours with my dog in the woods . Put up some more posted signs for the land owner . Looked for shed antlers but no luck .

Finally did a tiny update

 

Niiiiice! At least you got your hands fishy smelling.... Me and my pops got skunked yesterday, only a couple hours, but was bad weather and crap. But since I told him I'd drive up, about an hour to him and another half hour to our spot, it was still nice to hang and laugh and talk. Nice to see others around that fish and hang with their pops!

 

Oh heck yeah, just getting on the water is good enough for me. Catching fish is always fun too but the time with family is irreplaceable.

Thanks man and as you know it's a numbers game. The more time you're on the water(or at the water from bank/shoreus, we're proud hillbilly fishermen lmao) but yeah more water time the more you up your chances of landing that record breaker

Our lake finally got some water for the first time in ten years so everything's evening out so to speak, still.

 

Wow dude, really been that bad??? Dam, which lake is that? Down south in Austin area? Seems whenever we're at my brother's in Waco fishing on the Brazos, it was flooded or flooding or something always flooded or something. Yeah and the lake Waco was always way high too it seems I remember. Weird. Like everytime man. Maybe you're far enough away from there that your place could have a different humidity or moisture or whatever? Texas is that big prolly, I gotta keep that in mind lol

 

Lake Buchanan just to the north west of me. We have to feed inks, travis, and lake austin. It's a really big lake.
