Anybody else have this issue or any ideas on how to solve it? Maybe I have something setup improperly?

I have ADS 2.5 coilovers on my truck, just put the sway bar back on after running it without for a while. I have the relocation block that came with my setup mounted under my reservoir (right on passenger side, left on driver side) so it moves the sway bar mounts forward. The bar is still rubbing the base of my left coil, and as it moves it not only rubs but the end-link bolt is gouging the backside of the coil. On the right the bar clears but the end link hits.

Are those Moog sway bar links? Do you have OEM links to compare for length? If the Moog links are shorter than OEM, it would make the situation worse.

Is the sway bar installed upside down?

They are MOOG links, I don't have any to compare them to unfortunately but that's a good point. Didn't even think about the sway bar being upside down. I have it so the angled portion in the middle is aiming down currently, I believe that is correct?

Yes that should be the correct orientation.

Where the coilover connects to the LCA, there are usually reducer bushings used. With my Icons, there is a long bushing and a short bushing, with the long bushing at the front to space the coilover toward the rear. Does ADS do something similar? If so, make sure the bushings aren't flipped.

If I remember correctly they do, I'll run out and take a look.

Yeah so it looks like there are two different lengths, and the way I have it set now is with the long bushing in the front. Excuse the mess under there... this winter has been rough on it. IMG_6766.jpg

    :notsure:

Take some photos from farther away showing the resi mount / relocation block and the sway bar end?

Just noticed you have both a 2013 and a 2017? Is this sway bar originally from the truck?

Sure! Appreciate the help. I'll get some more photos in the morning. It is the original sway bar from this truck, the other one hasn't come off. Although comparing the other truck today I noticed it is also rubbing, but just enough to be barely perceptible.

I just went out and looked at my truck, my bushing clamps are installed with the open hole to the rear. I'm not sure if they're offset, but it may be worth a shot

With a suspension like that, I'll just go ahead and say what everyone else is thinking..... Just remove the sway bar, it is 30lbs of dead weight, it limits your suspension travel when off-roading, limits max articulation, and then drive it carefully in the future remembering the sway bar is removed.

Yeah I agree, I've had the sway bar off since this past summer. Only issue is I'm about to do 3 2000 mile road trips this month and for that much highway driving I'd really like to have the sway bar on.

So I just swapped the clamp, nice catch. The other side was setup correctly. After switching it there is a tiny bit more clearance, but still not enough to clear the end link bolt on the backside. Also tried to force the whole sway bar towards the driver side, got me a little extra room but not much.

    Have you run them?

I ran without the s/b for quite awhile, the reason I put it back on was for emergency situations at hwy speeds, you just never know when shits going to happen! I did really like the ride on and off road without it though

Couldn't agree more! Really shouldn't be that hard to put it back on...

Like I said up above, normally have it off. However for the amount of highway driving I'm going to be doing this month I want it on. Besides, it should be pretty simple to make it clear. So trying to find the issue.

Had a similar issue on a friend's truck. Used an angle cutter and then grinded it flat. No worries on my end from getting it off later, nothing like an impact gun!
