I don’t think there are many people who have regeared the MT. Most are still on the factory 430s.

2lo is an awesome mod tho

Or just get a taco box

Well since this thread is basically the MT hangout/off topic for the moment at least...

I thought the TacoBox was nearly impossible to order new at this point and finding a used one is probably scarce. I'm not even close to needing that yet anyway. Not even a little bit close.

I would definitely get a tacobox if I was seriously into off-road. That's a pretty slick setup.

You can get one. Says 8 week lead time.

the RCLT kit should be available before too much longer as well

So why does it flash super fast inside Toyota flash manager now that the 2.0 files are located there? Just click download and it’s done in like less than 2 seconds. But when you select the file manually in P5Flash it takes a good 20-30 seconds and actually looks like it’s doing something?

The download button is just downloading the file to your computer

p5flash is writing the file to the ecu

I ended up finding it in the Downloads and flashed in p5flash

I havent had time to reflash, but my process was 1. Flash tune, turn off ignition, turn ignition back on, reset LV, then start truck and run for 5 min then without turning it off and on again go for a drive.

anyone get a lazy jump feeling when the pin the pedal in say 4th or 3rd at 2200 to 2500 rpms. The truck is responsive and wants to go it just kinda feels like it bounces maybe? idk how to describe it. IIRC i can see it on the tach when it happens. never happens randomly of course just when i give it some go juice to move fast lol

    That's what I'm doing.

It sounds like you are down to a Zendesk message or a reflash.

With your original issue, this might be related?

Nothing lazy about this tune on my Taco.

I dont really get any odd surges or jolting like i did for the first 40 miles. Im at about 200 now and it seems the longer i just leave it alone, the more its smoothing out. Id say straight up run 2 tanks of fuel and see if she starts to level off...unless you're having some real adverse things going on. Also i spent some time in various gears as long as i could...almost like letting the truck relearn load vs throttle inputs vs the given rpm. When i row through the first 4 gears at about half throttle, running it out to about 3700 rpm its smooth as butter and just super happy feeling on this file.

Yep, get some significant miles on whatever file you're running before making a judgement. The WORST thing you can do is flip back and forth between files and/or continually reset LVs.

Well, I finally made it home late last night. Just flashed the premium sfob dump file and it's idling as we speak. Super pumped to try it out after all the killer reviews...

@BlkdOuT Let us know if you get a CEL on the Dump tube tune,I got them on my truck but I am completely decated wih the URD Y pipe. I have a ticket into Mat and he is looking into it. I didn't notice any drop in performance or power when the light came on. If this is like other vehicles when the light goes on it will default to a rich condition to avoid running lean and causing engine damage.

ETA once you drive it you may be reconsidering the Turbo purchase....
