The 1.5 FOB 87 octane flash last October was great. The 2.0 SFOB Reg octane flash is another dimension. I loaded this last Monday & have 220 miles on it since. 2nd gear spools up like 1st always did. Halfway to the floor with the gas pedal is all it takes to launch past folks trying to blow me off at the traffic light! If the AT flash is anything like this version for the MT you guys will be thrilled. Driving my truck is more funner!

If only Toyota had the balls to build a Tundra with an MT and a V8, or even better: a Tacoma MT with an 8! The 2.0 reflash gets you pretty damn close to Tacoma nirvana!

Yes I did get quiet. For 2 reasons. #1 because I'm not vengeful and #2 adults do that because we know people like you will eventually make a fool of yourself. As you did with all the extra posts I see above.
All I and a couple others were doing was taking OUR time, doing our best, to answer your question. You know, be helpful.

Be happy some of us tried to help. I asked one question (aimed at Mat as well) and got one very unhelpful and which could even be construed as a smart-ass response.

But was I a persistent piss-ant like you? Nope. I let it go and moved on.

What’s funny is all the back n forth on the subject actually got my question answered. Thank you for that anyway.

But now that you (just had to) bring it up:
If you’re “only ever (going to) utilize 91-Octane” why would you install a tune for regular gas anyway? I’ve been running 93 Octane since 1.04 came out and if he has a premium specific OL tune, I’m running the premium specific OL tune. Duh?

Why yes, yes I was enjoying a Jim Beam Black n Coke or 3 previous to the time you posted this. I even topped it off with a Sam Adams Summer Ale for a night cap. I sure as hell wasn’t sitting on this forum like a lonely soul bashing people and seeking revenge.

    Happy Friday!

I have to pretty much 100% agree with this, 1st gear is just nasty...you can roll second at stops and itll actually move, half throttle shifting semi calmly through the lower half of the gears gets you to 60 with very little effort. Its how this truck should have been from the start...albeit a smidge aggressive for the masses....but for any of us actually using these trucks, youll be most pleased im sure. I know i am.

Playing round in the flash manager, and opened the instructions in it.
For the flashing portion it mentioned flashing the TCU after the ECU.
This is the first time I have heard this.. Am I missing something?

"Follow the prompts and allow the ECU to flash.
Flash the ECU file first, then load the TCU file and flash that.
Afterwards, start the truck and confirm it starts. If so, flashing is completed and has
    completed successfully!"

Awesome thanks! just making sure I was't missing something. Going to flash the 91 beta this afternoon from the 87. Making sure that I have everything up to date then noticed that in the FM supplied instructions. Wasn't sure if it was something new or old. Thanks for the the quick response.

I am running the 04B31 - 4.88 Stock Exhaust Tune on my 2019. When flooring it, it holds the gear really well but as soon as it redlines rather than shifting it cuts the gas prior to shifting so it's not a smooth shift. Will there be an update to fix that issue? Thank you!

I wonder if Matt realizes the number of keyboards he is going to be responsible for damaging over the next week or two? With so many people sitting at home with no sports to watch and nowhere to go, they will just be here hitting the f5 key over and over waiting for the AT 2.0 to drop...
