    Spring is trying to bust out here, in fits and starts... 70 degrees for a week and BAM, rain and snow. The nighttime lows are rising, though, so we're on the right track.

    I've used a compass once.

    We were at a week long camp out and it was a station to participate in. The guy running the station was less than enthused with actually teaching us kiddos how to use it, and more enthused with watching all the kids run around and freak out in the woods.

    Luckily, I picked up his little plan to have us hit certain points on the map and end up in the same spot we started.


    So, after the 3rd location, I just went back to the starting point.
