I’m sure you do. You will probably say aluminum is fine for armor, I will disagree.

We build both. Our steel front is still only 110 lbs. we have all aluminum armor on our lc200, bumpers, skids and sliders. We beat the crap out of them all over the country and they are holding up great. So yes, I will disagree with you and say there is definitely a place for properly built aluminum armor.

I just looked at a thread on 3rd gen front bumpers, and it looks to me like it would be difficult to make a good looking front bumper.

    You were doing so good.

As a vendor, it’s never good to lash back. You got picked on a bit, and responded great about it being a custom order. I personally think the shackle points are unattractive, but others seem to like them. You’ll never please everyone. As a vendor though, trolling back, is just going to hurt your bottom line. Watch CaliRaisedLed, they have taken some licks too and as far as I can tell, always respond in a neutral or positive manner. You obviously don’t have to take my advice, but keeping it classy as a vendor will go a lot further here.

Oh god. Cali raised? Use a better example. This guy knows his craft, and puts in work. He’s a fabricator with his own shop.

Thanks for the input, however it was most definitely not meant as a lash back, it was simply a question. @stun gun feels aluminum is not a great option for armor, from his pic it looked like his skid was aluminum so that is why I asked.
