I really like the way that skid looks... like a lot. Might have to consider replacing my BPF in the near future.

I think after having mine on a week that im gonna strip the paint off and glass bead it. put it back on bare aluminum. it has the trd pro skid look

 

I’m diggin it. How much of a lift and are those 285 tires?

Reposted from "what have you done to your 3rd gen" thread. Really liking the wheels and tires as I've had them for a little over a week now.

 

Got the stock suspension changed out finally. Local shop there installed them. Also got EBC brakes up front and heavier duty shoes and drums at back installed from/by them.

Wheels should be coming in hot in mid-April.

Tires are just sitting and waiting.
Not sure what to do with these...
Added some load bars to the cab side panel of the DB cover and relocated the Maxtrax that was on the underside of the bed rack onto them.
It wasn’t staying open on its own at first (maybe, I didn’t open it far enough or the weather was affecting the struts) But, today, the panel cover was able to stay open on its own.
Changed out to the new Mountain Hatch BRCC tailgate cover

Black, tan and red theme is coming along nicely, so far. Been getting all this done to the truck the past three weeks or so.

haha.. a neighbor is playing their piano or keyboard as I type. Good to hear some are taking all this social distancing fairly well.

 

Went and picked up some new wood flooring for the house. 1400lbs and she wasn’t even hitting the bump stops.

if i didn't need my taco to go offroad and be able to turn around offroad, i would have gotten the long bed. nice truck!

 

No changes in the handling with the mods I’ve done to the truck. Possibly dropped the mpg by 1 mph w/the additional weight added.

Only difference I’ve noticed in handling was at highway speeds after I swapped out the stock Wrangler AT tires with Dick Cepek’s. Nothing unsafe by any means but a lil more tendency to wander at times.
