Fuckin NAPA. I had the wrong kits for the adjuster screws for rear drum brakes, so I called in Wednesday, they said they could order two kits and have them this morning, great. I drive up (from pescadero to Napa in half Moon Bay) and they didn't fucking order them. Cool beans.

It has come down in price by almost 40% since I purchased it. I use this damn tool more than I thought I would. It makes me want an air powered one like Jerry has over at BAMF. That thing is sweet!

i think i have the same model and now i'm wondering what i paid for it. i love the thing but i do wish it had more oomph. i need to hit the weight room.

That reminds me. My CVs have been busted for a couple years and I need to re-boot them. I guess I should get off my lazy ass and do some work on the truck now that I'm gona be WFH for the next month.

 

this was my first rebuild and i took my sweet time. i ordered the wrong boot kit, then i struggled mightily to get the spider gear off, then i knocked a bearing off, then i messed up one of the clamps, then i neglected to put one of the grease packs in. finally got that bitch together though so, job well done me!

 

Mine must have a longer handle or something (better leverage?) Because it's not hard at all to squeeze the nuts.

it was more to the fact that I use it a lot. More than I thought. The threaded plunger is starting to wear. It would be nice to have something faster for the amount of use and abuse mine takes.
