20% tint on all windows, Deckplate mod, satoshi-ish grille, blacked out and/or body matched emblems, rattle canned rims, red l.e.d. interior lights, bilstein 5100's and OME 881 coils , deaver 8 leaf pack, 1.5" lift shackle, alpine sound system, 55w HID lightforce 140 and 170 fogs
Easy. If you believe your tax burden will be higher in the future and/or retirement, ROTH is a better choice. If you seen your tax burden decreasing in the future, traditional is a better option.

You can have the debate on who is going to maybe do what to which taxes and how that may or may not impact your tax burden somewhere else.

I understand, but this thread has "BS" in the title. I always thought it was a free-for-all, not a formal investing thread. That's why I post here, I learn about things in other places.

BS does not include politics, just like every other thread on TW, including any other BS threads.

The entirety of the stock market is influenced by politics. Difficult to speculate on the future of stocks without bringing politics into it. You can do so without opinions, but I don’t think politics in their entirety should be barred so long as no one blatantly attacks someone or their favored political party.

Here's the thing. Politics and governments play a very large role in the landscape of the market, investing, etc. However, TacomaWorld has a set of rules (whether folks agree with them or not) that must be followed to not only maintain order, but to limit arguments and the like. As a result, there are some topics that cannot be discussed here, and considering that this is a privately owned site it's not up for a vote.

I (only one of the many moderators) also use this thread for my knowledge and discussion, and as a result have allowed news (which may include political figures) to be presented. That said, I have indicated in the past that spurring political discussion or "picking a lane" would not be allowed here. That does not mean that other members of TW don't drift into this thread and report something that they deem political which is what happened. That draws the attention of other mods, and I do not solely control any area of this site, and nowhere is a "safe space" from moderation.

I'm trying to figure out how to best handle this, and as a result will be locking this thread temporarily until I can get with the rest of our crew here. What it very well may look like is that the consensus may be ZERO tolerance for political anything, and if it cant be adhered to it'll just fizzle out. I'm not hoping that's how any of this goes, but I shall return.

We're back open! Please heed my warning above that got us closed in the first place, and PLEASE keep the political opinions out. I'll be watching closely for a while again, but no sweat. This might be a long process with a warning or two, but we'll get it dialed in I'm sure of it. I'll hopefully have some guidelines out soon on this front, but I know theres a ton going on in the market right now so I'm sure y'all have a lot to talk about.

As an aside - just upped my Roth IRA contributions to weekly contributions (instead of monthly) and will hopefully be fully funded in IRA for the year in the next few months... Spread the butter across this pullback.

    Happy investing!

What do you guys think of SCI? Maybe a bit morbid but if Covid hits hard no matter how low the lethality that’s still a lot of numbers...

I was disappointed that I only learned about short etfs on Wednesday morning and missed out on triple digit gains. Still early enough to recover my losses though

What do you guys think about the Speaker of the House speaking now, an hour before the President? Think she's doing something shady? I do, she should speak AFTER the president on matters like this. The markets will react accordingly!

So CNBC is reporting that Pelosi has been working with Mnuchin all day, that they talked at least 6 times today. She just did her speech and made it completely partisan, didn’t even mention Mnuchin. The markets aren’t going to like the two sides trying to take credit for whatever bill they pass. Why can’t they work together in the first time it’s needed in a while?
