I'm telling ya, it's politically motivated by the shit side.

 

Tough to pinpoint given it's in so many countries. That would be some wild collusion. I can't see so many rivals intentionally crashing their economies and their rich buddies losing so much money in the process.

I believe it is less a political thing and more just a over dramatization by the media to get ratings.

And I'm not just saying that to avoid a potential banhammer... Politics on both sides are affected by this but the media don't give any kind of crap about the residual effects they just like that everybody's paying attention to them.

I find it kind strange, how most things cancelled, is until around the 4th of April. I guess the virus is just going to mysteriously go away around that date.

We can only hope but I believe it will be around for months if not years. Then the good Lord will pour another affliction on us to deal with.

The time frame is more to mitigate the spread to give hospitals and clinics time to better prepare.

I thought it was being blown out of proportion too, but we had a two hour conference call today (I'm in the biologics industry) discussing how we were going to modify our processes for the next few weeks.

Basically, if we can slow the spread (avoiding large public gatherings, reinforcing basic hygiene like hand washing and minimizing direct contact with others that could be carriers) we can ensure the rate of infection doesn't outpace the resources to fight against it.

 

I should have no problem then. I am isolated in my apartment 95% of the time anyhow. I do not have any direct contact with anyone. Haven't for years. Yeah I think the U.S. should of taken this more seriously but I can understand why it was not with the clown we have in the white house.

Maybe we learned from those and we need to do something to SLOW down the spread and not OVERLOAD the health care system.

And I don’t think there is a person in the world that could argue the current president is going to get shit no matter what was done. So, it’s a better decision to be cautious, as is folks are blaming the administration for not freaking out sooner.
