Yeah, that's why I'm thinking a wood stove might actually work well. Without ripping out and rebuilding the fireplace at least.

Open the pools early this year

Glad the wife and I bought one with an Amazon gift card we got for xmas. Greatest investment I've made...Went on a work trip last week and used TP for the first time in 3 months. It's a game changer :crapstorm::crapstorm::crapstorm:

I so badly want to attend that as I want to show my support for my nephew and all the many others as well. I will need nudges to keep me on track with this.
Last year my dad was close to his end and that set Precedents as far as that goes.

It is of course on my calendar already but you never know in life these days

this last night at MB in Nashua. I took today off as I have to take my wife into Boston for a appointment with a back specialist. The manager at market basket told me they had a trailer coming in in the morning. So my wife shook me up like the house was on fire told me to get my ass up and get some toilet paper in this house now! I came home with this:rofl:

we did our shopping last night with some random things that I need to get through my day before I take her. Some fruits and vegetables and even that is getting tough right now.
Some of this is for my In-laws though. They are elderly and can’t leave the house often and I thought I would do some forward thinking and get some for them as well

@Fitzwilly , You could indeed be in a serious situation considering the consequences of what you do. But your subtle sense of humor is pretty good to see

I just obtained five large hardwood trees to burn his firewood. That being said I need a log splitter. Log splitters could be very pricey I’m guessing at $12-$1600. Is there anyone in this forum that knows of someone that is selling a used one? I will consider this and be more than happy to look

I actually have 2 corned beef briskets in my fridge right now, I'm going to smoke them instead. Unfortunately I might have to freeze them since this weekend is out of the question for a smoke :(

Everyone swarmed the big name stores like shaws/stop and shop/MB down here too. I went to the neighborhood grocery store and it was business as usual for them. Still had TP and the such.

Check FB and craigslist. Depends how serious you want to get with it. You can get a new one that will do your trees and probably not much more for a few hundred bucks. Kinda flimsy, etc.

I have a Fiskars that wasn't too spendy, $35-40 or so. Relatively low maintenance (although maintenance is becoming more of an issue with age), fossil fuel-free :notsure:

It'll cut into your floor space, though, unless you can find a real shorty to fit in there.

I have a splitter that I'm not using anymore. It may need a bit of work - Homemade with a 5" ID cylinder (might even be a 6", I don't remember) and an 8HP sno-king engine. 11GPM pump. All sitting on an altered small boat trailer.

Yeah I'm trying to find something to fit in the fireplace. That picture is shorter and wider than mine. If I can get a top chimney I could probably fit a decent size in there, I have a few inches of brick on the bottom I'd have to look at chipping out to fit it in maybe. I'll have to start pulling measurements. If I can find one to fit I think a chimney insert would be easy to tag in.

Xi just visited Wuhan and Apple opened up all of its stores under revised hours. Either way, looks like China is easing it's restrictions already.
