That reminds me. My CVs have been busted for a couple years and I need to re-boot them. I guess I should get off my lazy ass and do some work on the truck now that I'm gona be WFH for the next month.

this was my first rebuild and i took my sweet time. i ordered the wrong boot kit, then i struggled mightily to get the spider gear off, then i knocked a bearing off, then i messed up one of the clamps, then i neglected to put one of the grease packs in. finally got that bitch together though so, job well done me!

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Mine must have a longer handle or something (better leverage?) Because it's not hard at all to squeeze the nuts.

I wasn’t complaining about the effort... hahhahahaha

it was more to the fact that I use it a lot. More than I thought. The threaded plunger is starting to wear. It would be nice to have something faster for the amount of use and abuse mine takes.

I need to do this. Looks like it is in your 3rd gen. Where did you buy the plate and circuit breaker? Was it completely assembled unit or you put it together?

At the tire shop picking up my 5 315/70/17 Cooper St. Maxx tires, getting them mounted to my new SCS F5 wheels, and getting my tire sensors swapped over. Sunday I'm :sawzall:my fenders and test fitting them. I'm juiced.

Yeah. I have not been looking forward to this. Might have to do it at a Mod Day to get some tips. If its all coming apart I guess I should order a ECGS bushing too.

Went to REI today to pick up a couple things. When will the madness stop? There are a handful of the really shitty freeze dried food brands. No Mountain House, no whatever. And definitely none of the emergency supply buckets of stuff. All of their wilderness toilet options were gone as well. I get they're switching seasons so many things might still be in the back...

Saratoga Rei? They clearanced out the mountain house pre corona virus and have only had the off brands for a while now.

Curious about how the garage sale going on this weekend is going to be. Debating whether or not I should go...

Not sure why people need the outdoor toilet. It's just a toilet seat attached to a five gallon bucket or you could use a five gallon bucket a pool noodle.

i went to install the bushing and the friggen tool broke! it had been heavily used and presumably weakened so when i was cranking on it the aluminum split in two.

since i could not get the bushing in i have one for sale
