I couldn’t believe some were up this morning. Talk about an industry that is going to be belly up for awhile

High five, me too. I hate working for people dumber than me

I think we will see a few airlines go bankrupt out of this environment. I am staying miles away from them

That was me. I didn't think of it either, heard someone say it. But really, the power of the U.S. is what gives legitimacy to our currency. If the U.S. collapsed, then yea, the dollar would be worthless.

You really think so? I think this is a whole lot of nothing. It will be rough while the virus makes its rounds, but we'll be on to the next big thing in a few months.

That's a good example of something with value. I think TP may be worth more than dollars in some places right now.

Never let a crisis go to waste. This will most likely go down as the largest overreaction in the history of mankind

Actually my Bank of America rewards card generated $1,100 last year in Rewards. Maybe it's because I'm "Preferred Platinum" To become a PP member you have to have at least a hundred grand invested with Merrill Lynch or in the bank and the rewards card pays 3% plus a 70% reward so if I get a dollar in rewards the bank pays me $1.70. It adds up fast. I have $267 in Rewards to date and won't withdraw until December. Pays for Christmas.

We only use One credit card and pay it off sometimes the same night we use it using my phone. We have zero debt and never carry a balance. I paid cash for my trucks and I lease CRV for the wife every 3 years. Still have enough Investment to live off. I never thought I would get Social Security. So I generated my own security. My investment advisors over the years tell me I shouldn't pay cash for a vehicle. There's a point in time where you have enough cash invested that you can pay cash for everything. I buy a new vehicle every 3-4 years. That what I worked and saved for.

Here in Georgia that happens every couple of years when the weather folks hint at a blizzard.

It's days like today that show why you shouldn't pull your money out of the market. If you miss these, but catch days like yesterday, well, you're not going to do well!
