I doubt it. Most people in manufacturing have brains and are business as usual.

Good thing I didn't drop the $500 for my hockey season just yet, season started last week and the rink just emailed us saying all games are canceled until further notice. Pasadena has put an end to all "non essential" recreational activities.

Most of our games were scheduled for 11pm at night so I'm not exactly upset over this

My wife is not happy though...she owns and operates two Pilates studios in two separate towns and it's expected other cities are going to be doing the same soon. If her business gets forcefully shut down for an indefinitely period of time that's going to hurt.

    Wait... hockey in california?

I realize you don't need the lake to freeze over to play hockey these days but it still sounds weird

Hopefully there will be some kind of support from the state/fed, don't really want to border on political talk but it seems only right that that would be the case, since they're forcing businesses and entire industries to shut down. Big corps like the NBA, NHL, etc will be just fine but small business owners are going to be hit hard

Actually I started playing ice hockey when I lived in Texas

Austin used to have a junior pro team called the Austin Ice Bats, their games were in an old rodeo arena that they would lay a sheet of ice on a couple times a week. Worst ice I've ever played on but we got to practice there when we were on the kid's version of the Ice Bats.

They eventually opened up a really nice 2 rink recreational facility outside of Round Rock and I played there for a few years before we moved

@Empty_Lord good to see you. Was about to tag you and show you something

    20200310_173506.jpg

    Unsure how it happened.

Anyway, Jeep comes in this way. Its a JL Rubicon, and he has one of those stupid Jeep off road club stickers. His buddies are known to mistreat their shit thinking they're off roaders.

Anyway, vehicle came in with codes, etc.

Coolant in the oil. Obviously ran low on coolant as it burned it off as well as blowing a head gasket. There's some damage to the lower part of the radiator (not to mention coolant dried up) as a result of whatever damaged the frame as shown in the pic.

Customer is trying to file a complaint with the BBB because FCA won't warranty it.

Of course you know the steps and procedure your service manager has to take to see if a manufacturer will warranty something or not but really? You come in with a bent frame horn and you expect the damage to your engine to be covered? The engine is just collateral damage due to the radiator due to the damage up front.

I'm guessing he went off roading and pulled something stupid as the airbags hadn't gone off. Based on the angle of the damage, I'd say he let the front end drop or something.

Oh and yes he came in that way, without a front bumper. Guess removing it lessened the "visual" carnage one would expect to see.

i get assholes like that in all the time. THEY break something and expect toyota to fix it.

some dude tried welding his sliders on and blew holes through the frame and expected us to warranty his frame on his 19 taco.... yea... true idiots out there
