I unchecked p0128 and changed several of the coolant temp related values. Been running that way since around the time I posted that with no I’ll effects yet.

Not sure for the HPtuners but on my x1 on my race truck (auto) to get high rpms you need to manually shift it to get anything above the stock rev limiter.

well yeah, if you are in D the stock shift lines will shift the auto to make it to where it doesnt hit revlimiter.

I got a little to agressive one test tune and raised the shift line of WOT 1 to 2 shift by a bit too much and ended up in certian load situations actually shifting right at revlimiter. Actually had one that was PERFECTLY timed that ran through first, and hit revlimit RIGHT as it shifted to 2nd.... talk about a CRISP shift.... and way to much driveline shock. Reduced that line down a bit (only 20ds rpm over stock at WOT, but thats ~150-200 rpms with gear ratios and torque converter slippage)

Mine is an AEM 30-4900 wired to the Prolink.

"failsafe" gauge can be set up to pulse a ground in the event things happen outside of the adjustable parameters. For example, too lean under boost can trigger an ignition kill. Or, it could be set up to trigger a meth injection setup. Gauge has AFR, Boost/Vac, and Rpm inputs. So, imagine a trigger that can be based on those three things. I tapped into the tach signal at the instrument cluster.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
500 give or take $10 is where it’s at. eBay has it prop 65 free if you are Cali, otherwise Amazon.

you can just get the credits separate for the same price from HP, and if you aren’t sure about Pro, you can add it later at the same cost

Who can point me to how I can get the base TRD tune using HP Tuners. I discussed it a bit with @JustDSM before but wanted to check in if its still possible. Just started tearing down the truck for the S/C setup and figure I should get that squared away.

@JustDSM can get you squared away. He can bench flash your MY trd cal. Just have to send him your ecu. I would recommend getting a backup ecu if you have not yet thought about it.

Other option is using Techstream and getting a two day license and flashing the trd cal yourself. You would also need a tactrix cable to do the flash as you can’t use HPtuners software or cable to go from n/a to the trd cal. I highly recommend having @JustDSM do the initial flashing of the trd cal.

@JustDSM set up my spare ECU with my vin and base trd tune for me to then put his HP tuner tune onto it. great work and quick turnaround.

    Hi folks,new to TW.
Recently purchased a 2015 M/T Base with less than 20,000 miles. I was so stoked to own a manual truck again except I discovered it suffers from high fluctuating idle while coasting in neutral. Would guru JustDSM's rev-hang Tune remedy this?

    First off, Welcome!

Any chance you could post up or send a video? In a few instances there are situations where it’s normal to expect some fluctuation. Under normal conditions however, it shouldn’t surge or fluctuate when coasting.

With a video, we as a collective can help.

Looks like classic "rev hang". HPTuners has the throttle cracker adjustments for this that will allow you to tune this to your needs.

Ok thanks, as I mentioned it to JustDSM in an email, it got a whole lot worse after I tried disconnecting the battery as prescribed in other forums as a possible fix. Now it idles at 1500rpm.
