Does yours have that silly vent thing on the back wall of the cab? Thats where most of the sound came from when I had my interior stripped in the back.

Thats what I did while I was doing all the electrical stuff there. Stuck a microfiber towel in it and it was amazing how much more quiet it was just from that. Once I put the interior pieces back in place i took the towel out and its back to normal though

    Those vents have a purpose

“One of the reasons that these exhausters exist is to relieve pressure that builds when someone closes a door, as high pressure can cause discomfort to occupants, increase door closing efforts, and even put undue strain on windows and closures, possibly causing them to unseat from their seals and make noises as air leaks out.”

It also helps with air circulation

    also this

“Perhaps most importantly, it reduces the back pressure against which the heater blower has to work, thereby appreciably improving heater performance and efficiency. Also, in vehicles of the hardtop type, it precludes the understrained upper edges of the windows from being pushed outwardly away from their seating surfaces by excess interior pressure, thereby precluding the noise and promiscuous air flow that would attend such outward movement of the window upper edges.”

Foam roll stuffed between cab and bed. Below vents. Heard that cuts noise.

I know, i value lessened road noise over my ear drums though.

That and all i think i have enough unintentional vents as it is, found two of the floor plugs popped out and allowed mud to get in beneath my carpet :frusty:

I "work from home" on Mo and Thu, in the shop Tue, Wed and Fri.

There minimizing the risk of exposure, and some of the stuff i work on could be directly contaminated.

Well least it's two days. The government (least DoN) doesn't overly care as of yet on the civilian side. Once it breaks out it's going to be a shit show for management though

I'm betting it's even longer. It was a 10 week wait like mid Feb so only getting worse. Not even including the virus stuff added on top
