I put the Revtek kit on the stock pro suspension. It rode better with on in my opinion. Was able to run 285/70 17.
Later put 6 inch on it.

With a big emphasis on the “(a bit)” part of the original title, I am thinking of putting these on a TRD Pro. Plan is to just run 265/75R16 KO2s, which I know fit the stock height no problem, but I’d like the tires to fit the wells nicely and just bring the truck up a bit, while decreasing the rake slightly. I really don’t want to mess any geometry up, or mess with the original tuning of the Fox suspension. Do I need to worry about bottoming out/overextending the shocks in full compression/extension scenarios and should I worry at all about diff drops, etc? I’m just looking for a modest increase in height to give me about another 1.5” to 2” or so of total increased clearance due to the small lift and slightly larger tires. Let’s hear from some experts! Thanks in advance for any input.

1/2” front spacer for 3/4” to 1” lift: 1/2” rear block spacer (they call it a shim because it is so small):

I am in the same boat. I honestly love how the Fox suspension rides and don't want to mess with it too much. I am interested in moving up to a 17x8.5 wheel as well and doing a modest tire increase to 265/70R17 (still debating on which tire.) Like many others, I love some of the SCS wheels that have a -10 offset. I've read a few posts that state I wouldn't have any issues, and also read some where people added spacers/AAL and had to get the heat gun out. Still trying to figure it out before I make some purchases but my wallet is getting itchy to spend some money :D

    Y'all have any suggestions?

You will most likely need a CMC and heat gun the fenders with that wheel size and offset. Adding a spacer/AAL wont have that much of an affect on wheel/tire clearance in the front.

I would honestly be more okay with doing that than messing with the suspension in anyway.

I don’t have a TRD Pro, so this question is more of just a curiosity. My understanding is that the Pros sit an inch higher from the factory (I think).

If true, do any of you guys know whether they come from the factory with the CV axle needle bearing on the driver‘s side? How does Toyota handle the “lifted” Pro...I doubt that they put the ECGS clamshell in there do they? Do they do anything to address the needle bearing on the taller Pro?

After researching the various options available for the Pro, I pulled the trigger on the Wescott kit https://westcottdesigns.net/product/fox-trd-pro-lift-kit/ and some 285/75/16 Ridge Grapplers. Couldnt be happier with the results. Theres no rubbing anywhere, and I didn't trim a thing. Didnt even have to remove the mud flaps. 20200311_134505.jpg 20200312_121756.jpg 20200311_134445.jpg

I run 255/85R16 Cooper S/T Maxx on TRD Beadlocks and haven't done anything to accommodate them. I'm putting the mud flaps back on.

So mine, similar setup rubbed at about quarter turn compressed with flaps. I removed flaps, no rub. I heat gunned flaps, and reinstalled with blue tape, rubbed. Took off, cut out areas that rubbed.

It was small rub, but...I couldn’t stand the rocks being thrown into my truck. All good now.

My curiosity has me wanting to know how it works.
Any chance you’re able to explain how it works without changing the geometry?

Looks like an upper spacer lift to me.
