    I know the backfeed issues..

What I’m saying is someone that runs a “suicide cable” should be arrested. Someone that has a “secure lockout” has no reason to touch a front panel. If he starts playing with a box then he zaps himself then it’s all on him.

I ran my cable to the gen box
    I hooked the box up
Finished the routing to the breaker box.
While the guy hooked up the box I installed the lockout on the panel.
He put it together, checked it and there it stays.
No way to bypass it unless you screw with it.
    It is secure.
At some point anything can be defeated.

You guys might be going back to printing Sears and Roebuck catalogs so that folks can have back up toilet paper.

I have no idea what will happen if someone at the shop gets it.
Not the time of year for a vacation. And I’m wondering if they would refuse normal vacations since
We already took our “time off”. Or business as usual since we are not in close contact with each other.

Forty two plus years in the electrical trade I have installed many 3 phase back up gen-set installs from water treatment plants, IT ups systems, schools, nursing homes. Personal favorite was a nursing home directly before y2k. Install specs required upon power loss, backup gen be up running and automatically transfered no longer than 17 seconds. My install was online in 13 seconds. Point is I know backup power and it can't be half assed. Insist your installer gets proper inspections from JHA. Just a thought.

They have plant in China, not Wuhan.

The person who tested positive was traveling overseas.

There is someone walking around the front with spray and a cloth wiping down stuff.
    Out back.. nothing.
Plus we still have to get into stinky, smelly cars. That’s why I have gotten sick the past 3 times this winter cause I know which cars got me sick.
    Even with using gloves etc.

The guys out back are like in front of a firing squad.
    We have no recourse.
