Not the half moons, the valve cover bolt grommet/washer things. 2 tubes of FIPG came in today so the half moons will get that. As long as I don't break one like I did on the Taco. The 4runner has 4 at the back, 2 per head.

Pre slice the rtv, peel in a direction, slice more while peeled back. Continue until they come off and clean surfaces afterward. That keeps you from wrenching them into pieces.

More specifically, that is the by-pass if the fuel regulator fails. That line by itself will not cause a vacuum leak. The hose that attaches to it goes to the air tube between the air box and the TB. Should be down near the MAF. That also wouldn't cause a vacuum leak since it's only drawing unfiltered air into the engine.

I know this because my fuel pressure regulator diaphragm failed after doing the valve covers and sitting without fuel for so long. The fuel was coming from the regulator, thru that tube and into the airbox as it's designed to do. In normal operation, there might be a slight vacuum on the diaphragm in the regulator from that.

Yeah, I'm going to try digging more of the silicone out before ganking at then this time. And not try wiggling them front to back either. I broke the lip on one in the Taco that way.

Yea dont go read the COVID-19 what evreyone needs to know thread. I learned not to panic, but the power and water will be shut off shortly so heres how to store water in your bathtub, again dont panic....

This reminds me of 9/11 ALOT!! someone dropped a sheet of plywood outside and people ducked thinking it was a bomb, people bugging out everywhere over an invisible enemy. Same shit with this.

I'm officially a business owner today, so manufacturing better not shut down because my biz kinda depends on it!! If anyone needs workplace safety consulting or training PM me.:D

Workplace safety consulting and training. So making sure the workplace is OSHA compliant, auditing, inspection support, training, for small companies and safety strategy advising for larger companies.
That's my vision, who knows I could have to become a coronavirus expert next week or something like that.

It blows because my only source of household income right now is my wife who works for a major airline. Shes slammed with projects, but who knows what will be happening.

So almost not far off from cruise ship booking!!

We had a new 5 story conveyor/sortation center built, and there was a row or electrical disconnects along the ceiling. No cat walk, and you couldnt even reach it with a JLG because they built offices below them at ground level. This was an almost $60million facility partially funded by the gov.

No idea how that ever passed a code inspection. I know jack shit about the electrical code and I saw it.
