From my experience, I think you stating coils fail all the time on 2nd gen tacomas is not accurate. At least for the 2005-2008.

I was asking cause Nate will make proper length hubs for us so they are flush.

So anyone know the length on the pulley boy hubs?

look into mounting options. believe most are set up for 3/8 hose. fuel line from local auto stores works great. find your mount point them buy fuel line.

 

does nate offer a hub removal tool? or just zz performance? id like to have one in case i/we need one.

 

Yah I’ll see what’s up the mishimoto setup cake with a bunch of lines but was considering getting some better ones.

 

what tool do I need to get the stock 3.0 off?

 

a QUALITY 5 ton puller. if you buy a cheap pos you risk personal injury. i was taught this as my wrenching buddy had one break. buy or rent a hoss tool.

 

all lines ive seen with cans are shit. fuel line is great.

 

Mine looked like that at 63k miles. I def did a good deep cleaning before I slapped it back on.

 

I guess we’ll see if I can get a line on one or I’ll be 3.0’n to start.

 

catch cans don’t vent lines prior to the TB. It feeds back into the plenum after the TB. However, I still use one. In my mind it does things and helps stuff.

 

+1. A number of us have had good luck with Craftsman's 5-Ton-Ratcheting Puller, that appears to be available only via eBay at the moment.
