That will definitely impact rubbing. I will almost guarantee that with 1.25" wheel spacers you are going to rub with these tires unless you do a cab mount chop.

I’ve noticed most folks in this thread with 255’s had to remove front mudflaps.
They’re pretty essential where i live IMO, i imagine id wreck the lower front part of the door kicking up gravel.

The thought of losing my mudflaps is really whats keeping me from pulling the trigger on the 255s

you can trim the mud flaps or buy aftermarket ones that have a thinner profile.

Yup, after market thin mudflaps and a not so tallish 255/75/17 work great for protecting the paint and no fitment issues on my Sport.

I haven’t seen much on these tires, but they are indeed skinny and tall.

I will create a seperate thread dedicated to these tires and my experience!

Truck aligned easily, tires have no clearance issue, they ride wonderfully on the highway and are as quiet at my Grabber ATs, they are great in dirt, and it’s a beast of a truck running 33s with 4.88 gears. Lovin’ this setup.

So I can’t really tell the difference in a picture between a 255/75/17 and a 265/70/17. For those of you that have them or have seen them side by side is the 1/2” in width even really perceivable?

Im currently on 265/75/16s with 2.25” lift and don’t want them to look too small. I also live in the mountains and tow a small boat and utility trailer on occasion so I’m not sure I want to commit to a 33” tire.

I dont have a picture of them but the numbers are very similar. Just a tad bit bigger.

I’m looking at the ST Maxx, which actually runs smaller in the 255/75 than the 265/70.

You came from a 255/85/16 correct? How do you feel about the smaller tires?

Do you have any more picture from an angle that shows the tire width a little more? Thanks.

The wheels I have on order are 8.5” wide. I just wonder if that will be a little much for a 255 and make it look stretched.

I'll be honest, at first the white topper and blue truck was throwing me off a bit, especially with the silver rings and center caps. Day by day though they've grown on me and now as soon as I can get the OEM setup cleaned (tomorrow) I'm putting them in the the B/S/T thread.
