You were very lucky, glad that's all that happened!

I only crack the window for air flow and always lock out the windows. I would be too nervous to let them stick their heads out. My two beagles can be very stupid sometimes!:frusty:

Cortisone shot from monday is wearing off.
    Yesterday was brutal.

He will always be my baby especially in times like these I just cant help but picture them as pups.
When they hurt I do too.

Have you tried Dasuquin? It takes about 2W of 2x daily to build up then you can go to one every couple of days. That might help.

My issue with cortisone or any steroid, is that it can have long term effects-it can definitely help when used sparingly.

    Wasnt so lucky.
Learned that lesson the hard way.

Had a wolf that liked to stand with front paws on the fenders in the back of a chevy stepside so I made his cable a bit longer so he could.

Lost his balance 4wheeling and went under the 40 on the pass side. Broke his hip.
    He fully recovered months later.

Thankfully I always ran their "in the back" collars loose just in case they ever went over the side since it was lifted so much, they would pull out instead of being hung. Never thought about running over my own dog.

    Never again.
Heads out the side, thats it.
    No farther.

Yes dasuquin. Previcox. Cbd. Last 2 weeks.
1 aspirin a day starting last week.

I agree with your feeling on steroids.
    Xrays monday found nothing.
Cortisone shot at least gave him a pain free week.

Massage massage massage heat and ice help.
It stretches out as he uses it but get ups are TERRIBLE!

    Rest and excercise.
Wouldnt even know what to do surgery wise at this point still trying to diagnose.

Starting small....try try again monday if not better.

Yesterday, my niece said good-bye to her Boxer, Cali. Riley and Cali are about the same age and when they were together, they played hard. Sometimes, it was literally a pissing contest when she'd pee someplace, Riley'd pee to cover and she'd come back and pee to cover again. She was gentle, three kids and she was great with them all.
Sure rattled me just because of her age (Riley will be 11 this year).

RIP little puppy. We'll all miss you greatly.

Icy hot with lidocane and a muscle rub my buddy has.

Neither gets hot or burns like regular icy hot/ben gay type rubs.

He got up better this am after sleeping on a heating pad and massages all nite everytime I wasnt dozing off.

Thanks for the comment, used cosequin on all my dogs for years. Vet turned me on to the new to me dasuquin.

It is my buddy’s dog, already past his lifespan and still thinks he’s a puppy. He’s a cool dog.

Haha I saw that as soon as I took the picture, it totally looks like a smirk. I think it's just the camera angle.
