Watching it fall out of the can like wet dog food, that's what grosses me out. After it's been fried up though....:hungry:

I've been trying to track down an intake leak for a while and the water squirt test seems to point to my injectors sucking in air at idle. When I took a closer look at the plenum I spotted a suspiciously clean area behind each injector, as if it's getting fuel on it perhaps? I don't smell any fuel while the engine is running though. Anyone care to chime in?

My new injectors came with brand new o-rings, and I lubed them with a thin coat of SuperLube prior to installation. I also twisted each after installation to ensure the O-ring wasn't pinched. Not sure what to do except take them out and install new o-rings.

The eggs and bacon one is pretty good; that's my go to breakfast.

Forget what the other ones are because I only use them for backpacking.

If I'm driving to a camp spot, no freeze dried for me.

Plus I bet you'll like spam once you have it.

My wife and I are really bad about cooking when we camp...hell we're bad about cooking in general lol. She's vegetarian and I'm far from it so we usually just do our own thing for entrees which is why the freeze dried REI meals are so easy. Plus when you're wheeling and camping you don't have to worry about keeping something perishable from going bad.

But yeah it'd be nice to do a camping trip with a legit steak dinner or something, whenever my dad and I go camping that's what we usually do. Unless we're backpacking

Oh and the best freeze dried REI meal I've had is the Pad Thai one, it's surprisingly really good

    Wait what?!

You don't at least take some sausage and eggs, some marinated meat, or other small portions to cook when you camp? Dude...eating delicious food while out in the middle of nowhere is fucking legit.

True perishables can go bad, but the thing about camping when you do it so often is you plan what the menu is at any given time.

    I have mods
$115 for new brushes from the local dealer and they can't have them until Tuesday. I have a new plunger and contacts coming today from Amazon tho. Might just wait for the starter to fail. It's not all that hard to gank the intake now that I have done it.

I've never had MRE or freeze dried anything while camping. Just had what you would have at any given bbq and beer. Lots of beer.

I finished the timing belt on my Tundra at 2am last night. Wasn't terrible for my first job on the engine. But I did forget to swap in a new idler pulley from my Aisin kit and I kind of hate myself. Old one didn't make any noise spinning by hand... so maybe my brother will be good for another 90K with it.

I prefer equal parts salt and meat (aka jerky) but I'll admit it doesn't sound as bad as it looks
