Thanks! I bought some 1”x1.5” eight foot lengths pine for like $1.89 each and cut them to size. I used a small torch and charred it all. Light Sanding, light coat of paint, another light hand sand, then I used a Brad nailer with two strip is wood and nailed it all together. The stars, I bought a pack of 300 for $5 and wood glued them. Used a printed template from the internet for placement. It was pretty fun.

Did my weekly shopping today... Usually I spread it to 2-3 days throughout a week. I did it today just in case people buy everything. I was happily surprised to see how well stocked my local Raleys was. I didn't have an issue getting anything I normally would buy.

The store said they killed their Thanksgiving numbers by 40k yesterday. That's a lot of hoarding...

Edit: plenty of beer left out

For the first time I decided to try the Safeway delivery service. Only 10 bucks for handling and delivery. The one closest to my house is very small, and always crowded. Could try shopping late at night when fewer people are around. I love Raleys. Not around the Bay Area.

We just got stop movement from the DoD. Local leave only. No further than 150 miles max. No planes.

So, that is already being revoked. I am sure they will get a call or message very soon that they need to return to the local area ASAP... That is what the messages coming out of the Pentagon are... I work in a control center, so this is coming straight from up top.

The ban doesn't go in to effect until Monday.

Their chain of command is aware of where they are, and neither of them have had anyone contact them to call them back.

Exposure to a minimum. Obviously we still have a fight to fight. They also want us to be close by in case there is an emergency situation we need all hands on deck for. There isn't enough room on base to quarantine us all there, so that won't be coming down. I don't forsee marshal law either but I can see something "like" Italy is doing where there is no travel unless absolutely necessary. Which could obviously be bad for those of us who don't hoard 30 days worth of food. I don't see it being as strict as theirs, but it will be a stop movement of people soon. It'll kill many businesses and communities. I am obviously one who doesn't live in the law quite like that... and I will maintain my freedom from my home (I do have a gov't job, so I guess I would be exempt).
