Got the notice for the low pressure fuel pump recall today in the mail. It states my truck is included in the recall and a 2nd recall notice would be sent when the remedy is ready for me to bring my truck in.

Was so hoping my truck would not be in this recall.

 

Installing this later today:

 

Not an air hose tip is it? Can’t tell if it has a hole through it or not. Different angles might help.

 

What? I thought they said to wipe our trucks down

 

Need some advice:

I want to swap out the stock dome and map lights on my '17 TRD Sport to LEDs. I'd like to make the map lights red for night vision and the dome as bright white as possible. I'm not interested in getting an entire kit ( plate, vanity etc..) - Would one of you gents kindly point me in the right direction? There are so many out there on Amazon etc.... Who here on TW has some that they're happy with?

Took my daughters 4 wheels to get 2 new tires I purchased for her installed. 2 tires were ok and I wanted to get them balanced since she just had an alignment. Went to the local tire shop "Pudgey Tire Ltd" and explained I need 2 tires replaced and 2 balanced. The guy at the counter said sure and wanted to see the tires. I had the tires in the back of the truck and asked how much it would be he said $45 a tire for install and $15 a tire for balancing but since were not busy I can install for $35 a tire.
I questioned the pricing and told him to put them back in the truck. Went directly across the street to Mighty Auto and gave them the job. $20 a tire for install and $10 for balancing. Like to say thanks to Matt a Mighty Auto who had to see inside my 2020 and the first thing he noticed as a Camry owner was the door speakers.

The same setup as me. Red maps and white led dome. Mine are MESO. I would hold out for them. Excellent quality.

 

I've had good luck with Diode Dynamics' plug and play replacements. Swapped out my rear third brake lights with these: https://www.diodedynamics.com/3rd-brake-light-led-for-2001-2020-toyota-tacoma-one.html, which are similar to their wedge lights for use in map lights: https://www.diodedynamics.com/map-light-leds-for-2005-2020-toyota-tacoma-pair.html. They also make a bulb for Tacoma dome lights: https://www.diodedynamics.com/dome-light-led-for-2017-2020-toyota-tacoma-one.html.

Replacing my interior lights are on my extended to-do list; I'd be interested in knowing what you end up using and how they work out!

 

Are the speakers still crappy like the Camry?

 

It was new shoes day for the taco. Wildpeak replacing the geolanders after 40k miles.. amazed at how loud my old tires had gotten.. it's like it is quiet again

 

Ya! Winter is over. Put my OEM wheels back on.

 

FINALLY installed my power tailgate lock. I should have never waited so long. Then I skipped about 20 pages of this thread since the last time I logged in. I may go back later to read some, though.

no.. it looks like a spray nozzle to something... the fitting/ coupler is threaded brass.

yeah it is a something like that.... brass fitting is threaded and there is a hole through it... a lawn service was working next door earlier in the week.
