That is interesting! They're for a smaller engine, but I bet the flow rate is similar or even identical. And they have them for half of what I paid at MotorWest!

Anyway, as I was tightening things up I decided to put a wrench on these (6) 12mm bolts on the top of the engine and they were all loose as hell. I bet that was where the air was getting in! I torqued them all to 135 lb-in.

Ran to Autozone and picked up a damper puller. Use to have one but who TF knows where it is now. Had to get some coolant hoses as well and ordered new upper and lower rad hoses. Forgot to order a front crank seal kit but they won't be able to get it until Tuesday so I'll skip it for now. See how far I get tomorrow first. I'll probably order one off Amazon as well as the starter brushes. This fucker better run good once I'm done with it...

I usually take the smoker when we camp with the fam. Ribs are Sooooo Good. We did 6 racks last time. Left over ribs for breakfast is killer.

 

I got the bolt no problem, it was pulling the damper itself off. Done now, belt is off, doing some quick cleaning and onto the water pump.

 

I have one somewhere in my collection of CVs with torn boots, probably decent as far as part store axles go but the boots aren't as good quality as what Toyota uses. If you don't have a big front lift though it shouldn't be an issue
