Well want to get a new tacoma trd offroad 4x4. Let see maybe when CORONA is over I can get a good deal and get rid of this. Already lost 5k in 2 years of its value. Never bought a New car ever. Always bought used. At least that's what my dad said.
Maybe I can get a good deal on trade in 10 to 11k. or wait another year till the 2020 prices go Down..
    35k is hard to swallow.
damm really want the Electric seats..:spending:

I dont know what happened but year ago (2014) when I bought my 2nd taco, they used to be very "hagglable", but this time around they just gave me the same price as shown on the net (went to 3 diff dealship), all the same price. So I ended up with a 2019 used one for 31500 TRD sport, with lots of add ons:

Buying the warranty and extra service is a complete rip off. If the finance guy is selling it to you, it is for their profit, not your benefit.

okay?...same here on my 2020, that’s not $7k price difference which is what I was questioning on that person's deal...10-12% usual, 15% if you got them on a bad day.

I bought a almost new tacoma last year (1200 miles) and a new one this year. Both from different dealerships, they both offered me the 7 year warranty at their "employee pricing" of 1500 bucks. This year I pointed out that it's really only a 4 year warranty because toyota covers the first three years anyway. The dude didn't like it when I said that.

the OTD and/or price offered before tax, license, trade doesn't mean a lot here. Need to mention whether rebate was applied on price before tax, license, etc.,

Picked up a TRD off road MSRP $44,902. Got it for $40,403 Before TTL. Includes $1500 rebate. Probably could have done better, but I traded a 2017 Limited Tacoma and got a decent offer for it.

Got an offer for $38K before tax, license on MSRP $42.5K (roughly 10%). Then there's $1,500 rebate plus $500 (if you were to take NON-subvented rate from TFS which is at 4.9%). After rebate price before tax/license would be $36K (about 15% discount off of MSRP)

Cash buyers - don't pay all in cash since you won't get the $500 additional rebate from TFS. Make a loan for small amount from TFS and get $500 additional rebate then pay all off when you get your statement.

how do we know in april if we're or we're not going into recession? Market is just shaken up b/c of the virus outbreak and concern that economy might not be performing well.

recession by definition is a "period of temporary economic decline during which trade and industrial activity are reduced, generally identified by a fall in GDP in two successive quarters." It's only been a week or two since the market dropped. It's too early to tell until the outbreak is over.

OR It could be something worse than recession... Only time will tell.
