Went to the grocery store today no change from normal here. Except no Toilet Paper or hand sanitizer. Other than that business as usual. For now. Not a lot of traffic for a Saturday though.

Same happened here they say tomorrow will be low 40's though! Still plenty of snow cover and blower isn't going anywhere for awhile yet. I should start picking up 5 months of dog poop that is starting to show up in places while it is still frozen solid. Nah....

World wide too, that IS insane. Now I am starting to get worried that I don't have enough toilet paper.

Hey @Tacoma Mike what's the easiest way to get the passenger side headlight boot off?? Driver's wasn't too bad, but having difficulty on the passenger side.

Stores cleared out here, too. Not a single pack of TP or paper towels to be found

You have the rubber cover with the 3 prong bulb socket?

 

Yes, with the wire piece holding the bulb in

 

Can you get the connector off ?

 

I got the connector off, but can't get the boot off... and you know how much room is available to work

 

Most of the time people break the spring retainer being an idiot trying to get the
Connector off. Then they need a new headlamp assembly.
I take some spray lube and spray the back of the bulb and spray down the side.
Then I take a small pocket screwdriver and run down the side of the bulb and get between the
Bulb and cover. Just push on it and walk around the bulb. Push in on the bulb prongs while
Pulling on the cover. Make sure more pressure on the bulb than the cover.
Keep working it. When you put it back together rub some silicone grease on the bulb brass where the cover rides. Just a touch. Put a touch in the rubber cover where the grooves that go over the bulb.
Will help the next time.
