SOLD: Leer X2T Tonneau for 3rd Gen SHORT BED

For sale is a Leer X2T aluminum tri-fold tonneau cover. This will fit 2016-2020 Toyota Tacomas with a SHORT BED (3rd Generation).

This cover mounts to the stock bed rails at 3 points on each side. No drilling. The cover can be completely removed in less than a minute (mounting points remain in place). You can drive at freeway speeds with the cover partially open (2 folds open) or completely open (propped on struts). It can also handle 500 lbs of distributed weight on top of the closed cover.

The latches are unique...does not use the pull-wire style. Very secure when tailgate is locked. You can open and close tailgate while tonneau remains closed. There are 2 LED lights under the cover to light up the bed (battery operated).

I bought this cover new at Sam T Evans in Salt Lake City in 2018. It’s been great and I am very satisfied with it, but I have decided to go with a full shell. It's in great condition. I do not want to trade for anything. Asking $550.

What a deal ! Mine was over $1,000. ( Hawaii of course). Whoever gets this cover will be happy.
I ALWAYS recommend this cover to anyone asking which is a good tonneau. Mine barely leaks even sitting in pouring rain.

 

It was close to $1100 with tax and all. I have been very happy with it. I'd keep it if I didn't need the extra space a shell will give me.

Love the look and am also in SLC....but my bed rail caps are cut for the stock tonneau. would you be needing yours with a full shell?

 

I don't think that would make a difference if your rails are cut off a little bit. I'm not looking to give my stock rails away with the tonneau.
