Agreed, the 2.0s are actually working well and I drove it pretty hard until the rear end failed, the previous owner didn't loctite the ring gear bolts and they slowly backed out! So you can imagine the carnage, lol. With bypasses it would be a nice setup. I am getting a DIY kit to make all my own links and build the mounts so they are super low pro and won't hang up on anything and have an 8.8 rear to swap in once I get some parts gathered up.
Sweet bud I appreciate that, Im going to be checking race desert and pirate ,race junk, etc....so the more eyeballs looking the better! I appreciate that. Haven't had my rig working pretty much since I moved 2.5 years ago! Too long not to be able to go out and play with everyone!!

Anybody want to come Swimming? Might be a little cold...:) Yeah as I've said before being the very last hill at the bottom of the ENTIRE valley it gets pretty crazy here when we get a lot of rain in a short time.
Now Im going to have to dig those tubes out and build a bridge, I was hoping they would do the trick but they dont quite fit the bill. I could add more tubes but they just tend to get clogged from debris coming down the rapids...but once I build a bridge I should be good to go!

Might have to make a TW party and ask for some help from my TW family since I dont have any living relatives, lol. WOuld be a good excuse to see you all again!! Hope you guys and gals have an awesome weekend! :headbang:

Hi all - I have sliders with some rust from my 2nd gen that I need cleaned up and re-powder coated. Does any one have a recommendation on where to go local in San Diego that won’t cost me a ton?

I used Quality Powder Coating in Chula Vista with good results and plan to use them again soon

I’d recommend just spray painting the sliders. They tend to scratch with proper usage.

If that was a smart ass remark to you, you’re in the wrong thread. :burp:

Sliders are supposed to be on your truck not in your back yard rusting. :boink:

Ahhh the joys of the internet...I’m not going to fall for the trap and give you keyboard Jockeys any fun this morning unfortunately.

Thanks for those who commented. Appreciate the help.

Colton @Titus94 saved the day by fixing my brand new wrench so I could tight the last bolt on my new sliders!
