@Harry2015 It is a bit like the Wild West up here in NEPA, isn't it? Lynn was at the Weis Market off the I81 Waverly exit this morning - packed and isle cleared of pasta, canned goods, etc. People are panicked.

By the way, do you have a recommendation on a good tint shop here in our area? I'm thinking of having the front windows done to match the rears.

Well folks, just got word that Sint Maarten is not allowing any cruise ships to dock and no people from Europe, UK, Asia, and the United States will be allowed to enter the country for the next two weeks...:woot:extended stay... The prime minister said provisions will be made to allow people to leave on the carriers they are supposed to.. I cant see any airline flying down with an empty plane just to take people home...not going to happen. E-mailing my income tax person and tell she might have to file an extension for me:D. We'll see how it goes.

Mark, my wife was out yesterday doing her weekly grocery shopping, she said it was nuts!

As for the tint...I personally can't recommend any but quite often I do see a mobile tint company running around here...can't think of the name right now though.

Morning, all! I saw that some of the State Liquor Stores in the Philly area are shutting for 2 weeks - stuff's getting serious now!! Lynn and I are heading to our local store this morning to stock up - just a matter of time before they all shut. Need some wine - always have enough Gin and Bourbon on hand for the Apocalypse.

Good Morning youngsters:hattip:. It loks like things are getting out of hand down here as well. People were lined up at a Cost u Less (like Costco and BJs but no membership is required) buying water and Toilet paper:annoyed:. From what I have been reading we will be here until at least April 1st if not longer depending on when we can get a flight. We will have to wait and see how things go.

Thanks Mark, beach is nice, weather is sunny most of the time, and the PM of Sint Maarten said food and supplies are plentiful:confused:. We will just have to suck it up and enjoy staying longer .

There are 4 counties going on "lockdown" and the State Liquor Stores in those counties are closing as part of that. The governor also expanded it to include bars and restaurants and a bunch of other places; anything declared "non-essential". 14 day shutdown.

At the same time people struggling to get back into the country from overseas are jam-packed in airports. So much for social distancing I guess!

Interesting times indeed. In the meantime we'll be going to a funeral for a close family member tomorrow. We'll be among quite a few of those folks deemed most vulnerable to suffering serious consequences from CV-19. I don't have any hand wipes because the stores are sold out. I guess we'll just play it by ear -- without touching them of course! ;)

    God morning Susan, gang,
Around 20" of snow on the ground since yesterday AM, s'pose to keep up a couple days. Miracle March for sure. Back is holding up. Coffee in a bit after nature call, just cleared a path to my dish, fed Repo pup, he had to deer hop out to a spot for his business. :)

I just got back from the grocery store where I went to pick up a few items and holy crap... there was plenty of everything on the shelves. Yes, even toilet paper and such staples as bread, milk and eggs, etc. Maybe the difference between living in a small town in rural Kansas and the big city? Sorry for all you city folk.:p:D

I don't want to seem too smug though, things could certainly change drastically in the next few weeks. Everyone try to stay safe out there.

I saw that once here a few years ago. Since then I always check. I wonder if some kind of interlock has been done to prevent the fuel from coming out like that, or if it is possible.

I managed a in-store for 19 years, what some people do is instead of clicking the nozzle off, they shut off the pump, then hang up the nozzle in the on position.

    Good morning folks,
Correction, managed a C-store. My generator was about to quit again when last here. Power was off for 15 hours. Tree across the power line in my neighborhood, causing power to short out.
30" of new snow since around 7AM Friday. Back to bed for a couple hours.

Our Kalifornia Governor has asked all us 65 and over to self isolate. Who is going to get me food? Most of my neighbors are 65+. Headed to town later for food after I clear my garage approach first, then a shower.
Side of my garage with the overhang, will have to knock it off when I go out again.
