    FIL was sent to the ER last night with a 103deg fever, now he’s in an isolated room with a no visitors restriction. He lives at a independent living community, he had gone out to the grocery on Thurs to get a couple things. We’re waiting for his test results to come back.

    Just got home from grocery store.
    Lots of fruits and veg. TP was half stocked. Lots of milk. Can goods were low. Bread, none. And that will get restock tomorrow. Everyone was nice and polite. No panic shopping. Store employees were busy restocking shelves.
    Did see 1 dead deer and 4 dead raccoons.

    Time for bacon and eggs.:hungry:

    Seems appropriate, this one of my favorite poems

    Till the Storm Passes By
    In the dark of the midnight have I oft hid my face,
    While the storm howls above me, and there's no hiding place.
    'Mid the crash of the thunder, Precious Lord, hear my cry,
    Keep me safe till the storm passes by.

    Till the storm passes over, till the thunder sounds no more,
    Till the clouds roll forever from the sky;
    Hold me fast, let me stand in the hollow of Thy hand,
    Keep me safe till the storm passes by.

    Many times Satan whispered, "There is no need to try,
    For there's no end of sorrow, there's no hope by and by"
    But I know Thou art with me, and tomorrow I'll rise
    Where the storms never darken the skies.

    Till the storm passes over, till the thunder sounds no more,
    Till the clouds roll forever from the sky;
    Hold me fast, let me stand in the hollow of Thy hand,
    Keep me safe till the storm passes by.

    When the long night has ended and the storms come no more,
    Let me stand in Thy presence on the bright peaceful shore;
    In that land where the tempest, never comes, Lord, may I
    Dwell with Thee when the storm passes by.

    Till the storm passes over, till the thunder sounds no more,
    Till the clouds roll forever from the sky;
    Hold me fast, let me stand in the hollow of Thy hand,
    Keep me safe till the storm passes by.

    The stores are hiring more people. Not sure what the positions but my wifes store has everyone working 6 day weeks. There's a lot of restocking, cashiers, click list, cleaning going on. Safeway and Albertsons are doing the same. I'm hoping Sam's can stay stocked with what I need for my business but they're already out of some of the stuff I buy. So I may have to close that down till they can recover.

    Morning all
    So far so good, got the shopping done and the family came home last night. I am in trouble because I didn't get frozen food. Oh well, can't buy what they didn't have.
    Have you braved the stores? Or is the freezer still well stocked?
    I would guess longer, but yes 2 weeks of a shit storm.
    It was starting to snow as the wife and kid left yesterday.

    The boy LOVED the winter tour of Yellowstone.

    'bout 3 inches here and more in town and south of us - Big Sky is reporting almost a foot. It was so cold here yesterday too - I was gonna go for a walk but instead of my usual 3 miles I went around the block because of the wind. I think they got out just in time!

    Yelly is a cool place any time of year but winter is something else entirely. You shoulda stuck around and gone with them. :boink:
