Mat, for what it’s worth my suggestion would be to keep the 2019s in beta testing and release all the rest as a final tune.

Based on the updates you provided at the end of Feb, 2.0 final appears to be ready for AT except for some 2019s. (10%?)

If no other fixes or testing appear to be needed for 16,17,18,20, then in my opinion, 2.0 final could be released for these years while you are still investigating the 2019s in beta.

My $0.02.

Just remember that if Matt doesn't CYA properly and someone does think that his tune software is to blame and they are persistent then possibly no OVTune for anyone ever... so yeah I am OK with the delay.

Torque converter, shifting is just a general issue of this truck.

Right, there is not that many "official" issues with the truck per Toyota.
Per actual truck owners, that's a different story.

Regardless all brake override issues must be solved or at least confirmed it's not tuning related, before 2.0 can be fully released.
2018,2019,2020 tunes are virtually the same.
Give them all the same tune, 2019s, only 2019s, brake over ride. Take that, add it to brake over rides happening without tune, leads me to believe there is an undiagnosed hardware problem.

We thought it was solved with 2.0 beta, with 2019s just requiring a different throttle tune (why, good question) but now someone had it happen on 2.0 beta.

I really think it's not related to the tune, as 2018s, 2020 tunes are the same and it does not happen on them.

So can the AT 04B04 2016-2017 (non problematic) guys get some love? I love the 1.05 0944 4.88 tune, but miss the hell out of the ECT mode. Gearlock is pretty worthless, even when towing because ECT performs better IMO.

Even if I had to keep the 0944 4.88 tune I would be happy, just need ECT instead of gearlock

There’s a 2.0 beta with an active ECT. It’s the tune I’m running and does pretty well

Going to look at a 17 6mt tomorrow......

I can't think of a reason not to release the tunes that are ready. Just please don't leave the 19s hanging.

He said he didn't want a "huge amount" of backlash. However, for the life of me I can't fathom why anyone would carp and moan about an updated 2.0 beta with the understanding that it was still a work in progress.
