All of this Grom talk has me on the hunt for one. In my area, the asking price for used with 500-3,500 miles is around $2,500-$3,000. Given COVID-19, I'm thinking I may be able to scoop a up a new one from a dealership for the same price. What should my OTD price be for a new 2019 or 2020?

When i looked they were like 35-3700 otd but that was years ago and a stubborn dealership that i dont like

In Montana without sales tax I got my new leftover 2019 for $2711 otd. Was able to talk the local dealership down to $3025 otd on a 2020. Since nothing changed I decided to save that $314

My local Honda dealer has a new 2019 listed for $2,688. I am going to wait until the end of the month, when they will be dying for a sale (no pun intended), and then offer to pay around that OTD.

There’s also the SSR Razkull for cheap, a good option if the bike is basically just a toy.

Z125 Pros are super cheap around here. Local guy has a 2019 with less than 300 miles listed for $2k. I just like the Grom better. More aftermarket options available.

    Stuff.. and things
I wouldn't necessarily bank on getting the bike cheaper because of the virus stuff going on. The dealership I work at is actually up 30-40 units for the month despite all the COVID talk. It's actually pretty surprising because Denver traffic has noticeably decreased a large amount but the shop is selling more than last year.

Freaking FedEx. All day it said my cables were out for delivery by the end of the day. Now it gives me a status of "Pending" and says there is no estimated delivery date.

And don't get me started on USPS. Two separate orders I placed from shops in Miami. In both cases the packages were received and sat for a minimum of 4 days before moving out of that facility. Proof positive that government is incapable of doing anything efficiently. Or competently.

Weather is beautiful in SoCal today. Just got back from a nice ride from Huntington to Long Beach and back. Lots of others out riding today as well

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
Question about the etiquette of selling a bike...I have my Africa Twin up for sale on CL. I have people asking to take a look at it. What's the appropriate response for, "Can I take it for a test ride?" I realize people want to make sure it is in good shape but no one else has ever ridden it but me and I have no guarantee they can handle it or won't drop it.

Just curious what you guys do? I've sold small bikes and could care less in the past, but there's a lot more money involved in this one and it doesn't have a scratch on it.
