That’s pretty freakin foofie lol. But that’s cool, no judgment. Would be a whole lot more manly if you could drink it and work that 3rd pedal like everyone else lol :headbang::burnrubber:

Well if this is the case , a roll out of the 16/17 04B04 trucks is the best solution so as to eliminate the possibility of their having a problem . Then the 2017 trucks . then 2018 trucks etc. Since 2016/17 trucks are the oldest there are a lot of dongle users , so do not forget us :fingerscrossed: @OVTune . "I" and hopefully we all stand ready sir !! A blog of what is in it would be great also as I am hoping for the immediate shift in gear lock you have mentioned a while back , but here was a lot of things mentioned in the past . Thankyou for all the good work and the concern as to how to forge ahead . Small steps may be the best way IMO .

Also what make the 1.05 is safe with all that issues. But not the 2.0 that being said almost done?

I also have a Accessory handheld sitting around without any tune since last Labor Day.

They also don’t make a double cab long bed in MT. Yes I use both the double cab and the long bed

    Some stuff

I always did? Used to juggle a coffee, breakfast, and a double disc nv4500....

Only had a few slush boxes, and ALWAYS had something with a 3rd pedal, until, I started sharing a vehicle with my wife, and I had a company vehicle....

No more... this truck may he gone this week.

This is, no way a reflection on @OVTune . The truck is better than when I got it, and I totally understand his standpoint.

She wants to keep her Daytona, she learns to drive a stick....

    I HATE automatics.

Didn’t that come with the tune kit? So you have access to the tune, you just can’t use the handheld?

Wonder if it’s possible to flash a 2019 ECU with a 2017/2018 ECU calibration. You’d lose the ability to use all those fancy cruise control functions, but would the truck work? I clearly don’t know enough about auto ECU coding. Airplanes are more my thing lol.

I can tune from my laptop, but not from the Accessory Handheld because there is no tune for my device until 2.0 drop.

So then there is no reason you shouldn’t be running At least 1.05 right?

@OVTune when I purchase the tune for the LX I assume the same cable for the Tacoma will work, am I right? And I can use the same laptop since the LX will have a different reg key(?)

Yeah, i can load any 1.05, but i don't like any of them. My favorite tune now is Beta 16012, very good for around city but worse mileage for highway.

Moreover, i bought this HH because i don't want to carry a laptop in my truck. Now i don't see any hope on 2.0.

Wake me up when they release a MT DCLB model and I'll be the first in line. Until then, no can do.
