I have seat covers and just put a blanket over the seat. V’s shed but the hairs are tiny. I just use a vacuum and lint roller occasionally. No way she rides anywhere but up front. My wife actually sits in the back most of the time when the pup is in the truck! This is a pic from my 2nd Gen but I do the same in the new truck.

You know an air bag deployment will likely kill her, right? She's heavy enough to trip the sensor but not kept in a proper position to avoid the violent deployment.

Air bags are designed for people, not dogs. So yeah it’ll kill her for sure. It’ll kill most dogs. Which is unfortunate :(

When I had my 96 Tacoma Xtracab, I had two dogs during the time I had it. Both LOVED to ride in the truck! So what I did, was I took out the passenger seat. It unbolts easily with 4 bolts. Then, I put in a 6inch thick piece of foam that I cut to fit the area where the seat used to be, with the foam extending from the front dash to the area behind the seats. I then put another foam in the rear xtracab area so that it then created an "L" shaped bed for the dog. I covered the foam with towels and a blanket, which were then easily washable. My dog LOVED it! On the rare occasion when the wife would have to ride in the truck with me and the dog, of course, I always said that "My best girl rides in front", so unfortunately, that meant that the wife had to cram herself into the rear area behind the seat and behind the dog! I will attach a pic to show what I did. My my dog rest in peace...

Orvis has the best hammocks on the market. Unfortunately they are also the most expensive. But I love mine. Gotta love white GSD’s. Gorgeous doggo.
