My son in laws dad works there. He said that they are putting out 25 trucks per hour for a total of 600 truckloads per 24 hour period. Brokers were calling the company that I work for, looking for people to run loads out of there. Fuck No!

I’m in Pa. and not too much moves by rail around here. However, in the not so distant future, they will be shipping LNG out of here to be taken to Delaware and New Jersey where it will be offloaded and shipped overseas. My grandfather, Great Grandfather and Great Great Grandfather all worked for the RR when it was big around here.

I send a train from here in Oregon to Chicago. It gets cut up there and goes either CSX or NS from there. I send stuff to Harrisburg but that's about it for PA I think

 

As far as I know any time a national emergency is issued some of the hours of service rules get waived.

 

We have a Small local yard here NS that gets containers of scrap paper to be recycled into TP and paper towels. They are taken to a local paper mill (Not P&G) and they do come out of Chicago.
