And your brake fluid is much cleaner than his

 

$155 fuck up on my part. By-pass coolant manifold, gaskets for that, gaskets for the intake and for CT clips for the upper and lower rad hoses since I had to use worm clamps for now. Gotta drain the coolant to replace that stupid by-pass so I'll put proper clamps up the rad hoses when I do it. Maybe happen next weekend, ordered from McGeorge. Guess I'm driving the Taco this week.

 

Started The irishman. So far so good

 

I liked it. It's long though, maybe a little too long

 

Oh, I also managed to break the locking clip off the crank sensor plug. Had to rig up zip ties to hold it in place.

@xtremewlr Im really thinking about doing an E fan swap on the tundra and running a 3uz fan bracket. hmmmm dont need it.. but also dont oppose it. (efan from a 3uz lexus that is.. no aftermarket junk)

 

@Empty_Lord, Dan. Thanks again for all your assistance with the timing belt and shit. I'm bummed I can't drive the 4runner because of my own stupidity with the rear coolant by-pass but I was happy that it fired up the first try (thanks to the auto-crank in the 4runner!) and idled smoothly. I revved it up a little a couple times and the response was great and smooth. See how long it takes to get the new parts from McGeorge. I'll start draining the coolant and removing the intake and broken by-pass after work tomorrow.

 

Why the 3uz fan bracket? Can't you just leave the one there now and run the nuts in to hold the pulley in place?
