the taco tows 5000 alright... i mean ive done it before. but its not the most pleasant thing to do. Tundra is rated for 7500, so that has taken tow duties. it covers what i need tow rig wise.

Didn't realize the tundra was another half as much poundage, wow.

The new tundras are 10k. 1st gen tundras more like a between midsize and full size.

Still makes me sad though that no one really makes a small truck anymore, everyone is all over the midsize ones and cars are always getting larger to get around regulations about size and weight with needed mileage.

I bet if toyota started making an updated small pickup that was an offroader too, it would sell well especially if they sold them for 20-30k depending on trim.

    Sadly it’ll never happen.

But if it did I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a unibody based off the rav4

Who knows, maybe the new Bronco sells extremely well and pulls attention to a small all use pickup, but Toyota has never been one to push into a new market, only get already done ideas and keep their reliability.

Thats our trucks with inflation and adding about 2-3k to get to a nice number, toyota would still make money on new 3rd gens if they cut 10k of fat off of them.
Crazy prices charged these days for a truck thats essentially the same, but with a cushier ride.

And when you try to just pay for the truck, they still want you to be in loans for the next X years of your life, like I already dont have enough of those.

Thank the Viking gods I don't live in the City of Los Angeles (Monrovia is it's own city within LA county)

City of LA just exercised an executive order shutting down all bars, restaurants, clubs and fitness centers starting at midnight.

Although I'm sure every smaller city is going to follow suit in the next week or two

Yea I rarely go to bars anyway.

But if the smaller cities follow suit then my wife is in trouble with her business (fitness studios), and her employees are fucked.

Yeah thats pretty fucked. How do they expect small businesses owners to survive if they have no source of income
