He never said he doesn't have these issues. Maybe his tune is causing additional issues. Just like 1.05 did with my truck

What about us 2020 guys, Mat? Will the 2020 AT 2.0 tune release be held up because of the 2019 brake override issue? I hope not. ;)

I'm trying to get my 3rd brake light repaired too. I got a stress crack. Where you taking it? I see Kansas as location. I'm in Kansas City. Waiting on Toyota Field rep to make a determination.

Doesn't the 2020 have the same ECU version as the 2019? If that is the case, Mat will not be able to prevent 2019 people from loading it into their trucks. I think that is the reason why.

EDIT: The 2020 is in fact a different ECU version than the 2019.

If that's the case, he could just send a direct download link to 2020 owners instead of making it immediately available in FM. It would suck to have to wait for the tune because of a problem that only affects about 10% of the 2019s, and none of the 2020s.

Easy for you to say, Mr. 2018. ;) Of course I could wait, and I will if that's the way it shakes out. Not like I have much choice. Hopefully though, 2020 customers won't be affected by something that has nothing to do with their trucks. Heck, we're already dealing with Toyota factory roof racks that no longer fit due to shark fin relocation. I'm traumatized, man!

Mat did say he'd consider the earlier releases if there wasn't any backlash - let's not make him reconsider. The earlier trucks need tuning more and have been dealing with this much longer than the 2020's.

every single file the man has produced has required a wait. the MTs had to wait a very long time for development before the ATs ever got anything. and the MTs didn't even have OVT for the first couple years of the 3rd gen and we used shit like the pedal commander or just plain suffered.

    just. wait.

But if the ECU is the same, the 2019 owners would just have to select 2020 and download the tune, go on the highway and have their truck die then throw fire at Matt for their own stupidity.

Even if he goes the direct link download for 2020 owners only, guarantee someone is going to mess it up for everyone.

Also why go through the effort of creating a separate direct link, and deal with the possible consequences.
When the worst outcome of delaying 19/20 tunes is just delicious tears a couple of whiners.

There's no effort involved. You guys crack me up. The only valid concern here is that some 2020 owner would share the file with a 2019 owner, which IMO is unlikely. Sheesh.

    Hey Mat
Are the invoices for the catless tubes you had leftover or did the catted ones come in? Thanks
